Today we had our call with the Canada team. We talked about having independent project but sharing code and ideas. We defined some vague ideas of applying gamification on our university with a badge-collection and rewards system. On this week we plan on going deeper on this idea, finding some tangible examples of badges, maybe even taking inspiration on other existing applications.

As for technology, we’ll probably focus on defining our technology pipeline, back and front end languages, frameworks, and tools, and others. We’ll setup a repository (or more than one) for this and share this to the Canada team.

One of the most important things to do is limit the scope of the project: yes, the project is potentially huge, but we don’t have too much time to deliver. So we need to prioritize features in order to decide which we’ll be developing and which will be kept as ideas.
